The afternoon of October 7th, 1777, brought the German and English Grenadiers and Artillerists looking across the freshly harvested wheat field at the approaching troops of Enoch Poor's Brigade of New Englanders near Saratoga, NY.
After a sudden charge by the New Hampshire troops the Crown forces ceded the field, leading to the surrender of Burgoyne's Army.
