All Regiments of the CL, BB and BAR are encouraged
to attend this market and military encampment on this site for
a
GRAND COMPETITION
Units who muster at minimum six men at arms are
encouraged to enter the field to prove which unit has the most
astute and worthy troops in the area of Drill, Volley Fire, Maneuver,
& etc. Judging will occur on Camp Authenticity and Cooking
as well.
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED
along with many honors. Each unit attending as
such will also receive
A BOUNTY OF $100
Rules and schedules for the competition will be
mailed to unit commanders who RSVP.
MANY SUTLERS SHALL BE SELLING VARIOUS
AND SUNDRY GOODS
This event will hopefully promote unit cohesiveness,
improve the accuracy of our impressions, and provide a fun time!
It is also a great shopping opportunity for your late season needs,
as it is a Market Fair. Finally, this is a terrific site! It is
a premier 21 acre outdoor museum- for the 18th Century area, there
is a trade cabin, functional blacksmith shop, blockhouse, and
Yorktown fortifications. The site also will have a brand new indoor
museum housing the history of the U.S. military.-NOTE: DO NOT
USE THE REENACTOR REGISTRATION ON THE AHEC WEBSITE YET.
