-price on request
The Continental Artillery that
was positioned overlooking the Brandywine occupied
three prepared positions with a two gun position
near the present day Brandywine River Museum,
five guns above the Chadd House, and two more
overlooking Brinton's Ford. These positions faced
off with British artillery firing from heights
acros the river, firing battery and counterbattey
fire throughout the day. Eventually they were
overcome by flanking infantry, or even the river
crossing assault directly into the face of the
guns by the 4th and 5th Regiment of Foot, as well
as the remnants of Ferguson's Rifles and the Queen's
Rangers
